Mix engineer @ Dreadzone Drum&Bass/Dub/electronics / Acid techno alias/Surgence Tekktonix Bazil's production started with his rolling atmospheric D&B. Influenced by the nineties "tech-step" era, in particular the likes of early Virus & Subtitles, blended with his own unique sound that he has been progressively carving out since his early releases on labels Dispatch. Flexout, Full force, to name a few. Fast forward to the present you can see this sound represented under his alias Surgence. You can hear a new sound under the Bazil identity today. Expect Dubby infused half speed beats using multiple genres with Jungle influences, electronics & Rave sounds. A new album due in June 30 with vocalist Izness and legendary singer Earl 16. His latest releases on Dreadzone's label Dubwiser with tracks such as 'Ganjaman' and 'Change'. Bazil has been supported by Break, Loxy, Survival, Ant TC1, Octane & DLR as well as BBC 1Xtra exposure from DJ Bailey. Don Letts played Bazil Ganjaman on his BBC show.
