KHARIS

• Kharis - Junction PREVIEW430

KHARIS is a Toronto born Junglist, whose sound is built on feeling and energy, liquid cuts, rolling basslines, deeper tones, and melodic moments. Her sets go beyond track selection, with real intention behind the decks and selections that stay true to form. Her journey started in the late 90's, digging through records, hanging with friends, and jumping on the decks whenever she could. What began as a love for Jungle grew into a serious passion for mixing and production, and she’s been locked in ever since. Since signed to Rather Rude Toronto in 2022, KHARIS has taken her sound across Canada and beyond. Highlights include opening for Mrs. Magoo, one of Scotlands Finest, in three cities, headlining shows in Ottawa, playing her first Quebec festival alongside the Camo Sessions Crew, and closing out a packed Masterlab Toronto night after Makoto. Her sound has taken her across Canada, with shows in Calgary, Alberta, Ottawa, Ontario, and Quebec, while also reaching audiences through guest mixes and radio appearances across the country, including British Columbia on Subltle Radio. Her sound has also reached outside of Canada with an appearance on Juice DrumandBass in Portland, Oregon
