About
Fonkah is a forward-thinking DJ and producer known for crushing dancefloors with deep, heavyweight drum & bass. Blending dub pressure with wicked neurofunk precision, his sound moves between twisted atmospheres and earth-shattering basslines, driven by relentless, bombastic breaks. Pushing the sound forward since the '90s, Fonkah has helped shape the underground drum & bass communities of Atlanta and San Diego through decades behind the decks, in the studio, and as the longtime host of Schedule One Radio. With over 100 releases across dozens of labels, he continues to push the sound forward as label boss of Sun & Shadow Recordings and owner of Schedule One Recordings. Free Tune Friday brings fresh music to listeners and DJs every week.
