Biography
Known for his prolific output and razor-sharp production, Fez The Kid is a name synonymous with the new generation jungle sound. Fez’s dedication to preserving the old-school sound through the use of Akai samplers and Atari computers, has secured his tracks a home on some of the genre’s most respected labels, including Future Retro, AKO Beatz, Meditator Music, and Up Ya Archives. From club basements to festival stages, you needn’t wait long to hear a Fez track in the dance. As expected, Fez steps to the decks with surgical precision, reaching for heat from a seemingly limitless arsenal of dubplates and rare digs. Gritty, dynamic and unapologetically authentic to the genre’s roots, his selections channel a hypnotic blend of past and present. This rise hasn’t gone unnoticed; with consistent support, collaborations, and co-signs from an ever-expanding roster including Nia Archives, Tim Reaper, Napes, Dwarde and Stretch, Fez The Kid is a guiding light for the next generation of junglists.
