Skenai v1.9.0 : names follow the gaze
Names follow the gaze
The map used to name its artists by zoom steps, everyone or almost no one. It now names them like a geographic map: what sits near the cursor or the point you zoom towards is named first, a budget of names follows the screen area, three sizes tell capitals, cities and villages apart, and a name already placed keeps a bonus so it does not flicker while the camera drifts. The artist under the cursor is always named, above their disc.

Hype, fairer with ties
In the hype disc size, tied artists now share the same percentile instead of spreading arbitrarily, a measured steady artist no longer ranks below a never-measured one, and a first date announced in the future no longer counts as history.

Mixcloud, the scene in full words
Mixcloud sets of an organisation or a label found by their title alone are only kept when the scene reads in the title or tags, in whole words: Drumcode is not drum and bass, and an episode number no longer passes for a tempo.

The legal page states audience measurement
Audience is measured with Umami, self-hosted on a server in the European Union: no cookie, no tracking across other sites, the city derived from the IP address without it ever being stored. The legal page now says so precisely.
