BASE is Milan's hybrid center for culture and creativity. Its main objective is to renovate the relation between culture and economy, future and everyday, between democracy, well-being and knowledge economy, social innovation and development. It is not fortuitous that "base" means "foundation", it is the beginning of something new, but also the support of an existing project, what makes it solid. A base is a new beginning, a new language created from scratch. A dream and a substance altogether.
