About
Overtake & Blackout Frequency join forces again to deliver a no-compromise night of Drum & Bass and Jungle pressure. Headlining the night is one of the UK scene's most exciting breakout stars, Kara. Having taken the scene by storm with viral mixing clips, massive festival sets (including Boomtown), and radio pedigree across BBC Radio 1 and Kiss, she brings her invigorating blend of old-school jungle and rapid-fire dubs straight to the legendary Howler in Melbourne. Expect heavy basslines, rolling rhythms, and proper UK flavour from start to finish. They’re backed by a stacked local support lineup TBC.

Hidden within an unassuming Brunswick warehouse, the Howler front bar is a study in light, shadow and plant life. From the towering conceptual steel tree that launches itself from the building as you enter, to the stunning bespoke bar design with its huge heated beer garden. It is a relaxed and unique space for people to get together for a drink, a chat and to enjoy some Asian hawker-style tapas while DJs set the mood and tone from Wednesday to Sunday.
