About
Jungle royalty. Bank holiday Sunday. The Racket Space. DJ Hype returns to Dublin after a 14-year hiatus, brought to you by Bodytonic Music and Absys Recs. DJ Hype has been at the heart of jungle and drum & bass since day one. He cut his teeth on the Heatwave sound system in Hackney in the early 80s, made "The Bee" with The Scientist, charted with "Shot in the Dark" in '93, and built Ganja Records and the True Playaz crew into one of the most loved camps in the scene. Years of Playaz nights later, he's still the benchmark for a proper jump-up set: sharp, rowdy and wall-to-wall rewinds. On Sunday 31 January, with the bank holiday Monday to recover, he takes over The Racket Space for one nig
